I use STL. files to calculate new stock models for the next setups.

 

Just simulate the setup1 in 3D, head over to "view", "simulation", "save simulation".

This function will save the simulated part as a stl.-file.

 

You can simply import that .stl in the same file (and of course into a new file), calculate a stockmodel and use this for setup2 calulations. 

 

In file "no_stockmodel_in_setup2" you´ll notice the air cutting part in setup2 at the first cutting depth.
