can't get past 'Warning: No passes to link' with simple pocket
i'm at my wits end ... i had this working and generating without problems .. then i changed the stock reference point and suddenly the pockets won't generate anymore, even when i switch back to the original stock ref point. I need the stock reference point to be on the top since my Z-axis can't reach all the way down to the workbed. But i need to keep the X/Y origin the same.
i have played around with the settings for an hour now trying to get this to work again but i'm really stuck now, no idea where this is coming from.
These are the pockets:
the operations with the problems are:
File is attached. I really don't see what the problem could be especially since it was working before. Tried to reselect the stock, contours .. nothing works. Also played around with the settings on the bigPocket operation but the smallPocket is unchanged from when it was working before.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER: if there isn't a file attached to my posts then there is a reason for it. wherever i can i will attach a file for troubleshooting. If no file is attached i will always try to explain as clearly as possible with illustrative screenshots. when i have an issue that can only be helped by attaching a file which i cannot share publicly i won't ask about it here.

It works OK if you select the faces rather than the edges. I'll have a bit more of a play to see if I can figure out why it doesn't work with an edge.

You might want to try out Bore and Circular for these hole as the seem to work quite well on this part.
Here's an example with bore and multiple passes.

selecting the faces only works for the big pocket not the small one (can only select outline for that) ... also weird. The Bore operation saved me, at least i could finish the part .. but super strange, played around with it more and still can't figure out why the pocket operations don't work.

The issue is that you selected the wrong solid for your stock. As you can see in the screen shot you selected your holder.
All I did is to change it to stockbox regenerated it and everything generated (please see video link below).
