Confused about toolpaths

So far, I have used fusion about a dozen times to create toolpaths for my cnc router. All of those toolpaths were for items with vertical sides, so just straight forward profile cuts.

This file (Honda logo) I want to cut from 16mm craftwood and is more complicated than the others and I'm at a loss to know what type of toolpath to use and how to set it up.

I have a feeling it's going to be a steep learning curve.

Can I get some help with it please ?

So, do you mean use 2d pocket for the internal cut outs, 2d contour for the external circumference and 3d* parallel for the sloping shapes ?

i just grabbed a tool and did the simple toolpaths. you will have to change tools and speeds and feeds accordingly.

Ah ok thanks for that.

I changed things a bit and I think it might work ok with my model.

These are very good links.

Thank you
