Fails to generate tool path for all parts

I am receiving this error :

Warning: One or more passes were discarded due to linking constraints.

Warning: No passes to link.

with this model

If I remove any lead in / out , it will generate fine. I am experiencing this error after a recent update. I have been utilizing the plasma tool path for some time and have experienced this error when trying to cut an inside object that is too small to have a lead in or out, can anyone shed some light on this? thanks

The link you provided does not allow for downloading of the file to determine the issue and solution. Can you share a link with "Allow Download" allowed?

Well this is interesting...

If I align the WCS orientation to be like this:

I get a toolpath on all the parts:

Will that work for you? Aligning it the other way fails. I'll get a ticket opened on this issue ASAP

Oh, I selected the Y axis of the origin triad:

I've created CAM-23249 to track this issue, I will post back if there are any questions or when we have a fix for this. I do apologize for the inconvenience of this

Thank you, I will try your work around. It boggeled me for quite a while. I
ended up copying the dxfs and creating a new layout ect,

Seth, along the same lines. I am so grateful for the response and taking the time to look at this it feels like less of a brick wall when people like you are contributing to this amazing software!

the second cutting operation creates a tool path for all but one of the parts, sadly I cant change the origin on this one I have cut the first operation as a beta,

Pretty much your only option is to duplicate the toolpath and select only that one entity left over. Turn off lead/in-out and hope for the best?

@malmquistm

Try the attached file, seems to work OK on all corners/middle now, quite a lot going on with your Model, several things not aligned and the two Bodies that were not toolpathing were at different height to the one that worked but I don`t see why that would cause your issue, a bit strange.

I did some moving around of your Bodies and they seem to work OK now, anyway try out the file and see what it does for you :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face:

I couldn`t look at your second file, it errors out with nothing there

Am I approaching this incorrectly?

I continue to get the same error and fail's to generate all paths selected?

That file performance is horrendous! What I'd suggest; create a Setup for the profiles that aren't generating toolpaths properly. Play with the leads and entry points until successful. If my computer ever decides to open up the toolpath I'll post back here with some findings.
