Using the same tool path in multiple patters

Hello guys,

I have a part of perforated faces. All the perforations are the same but are patterned differently across the part.

I found my self having to diplicate the base toolpath several times and what is worse, if I needed to make an adjustment, I had to make the same adjustment in several places. Is there a way to automate this so a change such as chiploap for instance can be made in once place?

I am sure you can use custom parameters, but that takes time to setup.

Thank you

If you use the new tool library, there are some settings you can adjust at the tool level that will propagate across any toolpath that is using that tool. Examples include:
1) Feedrate

2) Stepdown

3) Stepover

Note; For this to work, you need to apply the changes to a Preset and select that same preset in the toolpath. So, is it retroactive? No. But, like anything else in the program, start building your process to account for this and it becomes a non-issue in the long run.

Hi @crullier , You said (no there is that (compare and edit) ?), did you mean where is that. You select multiple operations and then right click. At the top of the window that opens up is compare and edit. There is a search bar at the bottom. You then can change all the selected operations to the same settings.
