I know this surely is a really basic question but I can't find an answer to it (I lack terminology I think).
Let's say I want to mill a rectangular pocket on plywood with my CNC router. I would like to remove as much material with a thicker endmill and then change to a smaller one that allows me to achieve a sharper inner corner. I don't want to remove all the material with the small bit.
Would you mind pointing me in the right direction as to what should I be looking into?
Thank you very much!

Hey @maghox.fr,
I think rest machining is what your after, I used a 16mm end mill to take out most of it. Then a 4mm to take out the corners.
