Reduce NC File Size or Link Multiple files to run as one?

Hey Fusion World,

We have a Supermax Mill from 94 and a Centroid M40 Controller. We are having trouble figuring out how to run NC files that are over 1MB. There is a limit for us to upload from a floppy to the centroid controller of 1MB and we are not sure how to work around this yet?

Is there a way I can separate the NC code into separate files that are under 1MB and have the machine link or run the files in sequence? Or is there a way to compress or streamline the tool path code to greatly reduce file size?

The file I am working on is a bevel gear profile that we would like to mill out of polyurethane foam. My current file is at 8.5 MB....
Any suggestions would be wicked! Thanks for everyones time and help.

Regards,

Quinn

Have a read of this https://www.cnccookbook.com/dnc-software-machine-monitoring-free-rs232/

Drip feeding a CNC machine is what it is.

The problem with that one is the software side of things, and setting up on computer. I was looking at something like https://www.amazon.com/dustinsuniqueitems-com-Titan-DNC/dp/B076GLM248 to be computer independent.
