Hi @kim.salvesen,
Could you attach you post please. We updated the post library recently to include the probe geometry functionality, I just want to check the right code is in your post. If not I will have a look for the correct post you will need to be using.

Hi @kim.salvesen,
I've been looking through the Heidenhain manuals and can't see that they provide support for what we refer to as probe geometry.
The cycles I can see are all for setting a WCS but not for doing a decision based on the size or position of a feature, or updating tool wear.
If you have cycles that allow you do do this then I would be interested in reading the revision of your manual.

Hi @kim.salvesen,
I have been looking through all my Heidenhain manuals and the one you have supplied and I cant find any reference to being able to support pausing the machine based on the inspection results or updating tool wear based on results.
At this time from what I can see Heidenhain do not have supporting cycles to utilise this functionality inside of Fusion.
I understand this isn't the reply your looking for but there is not much we can do form a post or product side if the canned cycles on the machine don't support the functionality. If you do find any reference to the cycles supporting this functionality please let me know and I will look into getting the generic posts updated.

Cycle 422 is circular outside
Cycle 423 is rectangular inside
Cycle 424 is rectangular outside

Brilliant, thank you for that manual, that's exactly what I have been looking for.
I will have a deeper look this afternoon and get back with what I find. @kim.salvesen would you be in a position to run some basic tests with the probe geometry functionality If I can get a test post processor produced?

I can check it also if this is the case? I have a Hermle C30, TNC530 and Hermle C12, TNC640 machine.

Hi @ad5683accts,
Not quite sure the issue you are having, if you can provide any useful information I'd happily look into it for you.
That error can mean a multitude of things so hard to say if you are experiencing the same issue.
Fusion file and the post you are using is always the best way.
Also please try and keep things pleasant on the forums, most ADSK employees help out here in our own time.
