Hello,
For a few days now I've been trying to get my new to me Linco LNC42 Lathe with the Meldas 500 up and running with Fusion 360. I've tried to start with the post files from Fusion post library and found the Mitsubishi to somewhat work except, I'm stuck with arc errors with the I J K lines throwing the errors. Mitsubishi P70 Arc Error. I've changed my tolerances and lead in and out angles and with no luck. I did change the Radius Arcs to yes and it ran the code but it acted funny.
G18 G3 X0.842 Z-0.3656 I-0.0567 K-0.1439------this is the code that stops me in my tracks.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Attached is the Post and the posted file.
Thanks

By "it acted funny" with Radius Arcs, what exactly do you mean?
Do you have a programming manual for the machine, and what year is your machine?
Did the machine arrive with any programs left in the memory? If you bought it from another shop, do they have any sample programs they could give you or any inside knowledge?

Hi Thank you for the quick resonance
As for acting funny I mean it cuts big. Meaning when I post it with the IJK the 1st pass after the face it cuts to diameter to size, When I change it to Radius arks to yes then it cuts diameter big offset from the pass with IJK.
As far as samples I've attached a program that was on the cnc .

Well, couple things I notice:
1) The programs are using "R" over the I/J/K. So you are on the right track I think.
2) There is no callout of G18 (or any other workplane). This is interesting to me..
Back the tool well away and run the code without the G18 command in there. I'd be curious to see how it behaves.
