I'm trying to do a simple 2D Contour to ramp into a slot. The contour defaults to a chamfer tool instead of an end mill for some reason. When I have a chamfer tool selected it generates the toolpath correctly. When I select a 1/4" endmill the tool path fails. My 2D contour is all screwed up. Is there a way to reset to built in default for everything?
With the chamfer tool, if the chamfer box under Passes is checked, the toolpath calculates properly. I think this is a glitch. This only recently became an issue.
This is for Op 2

Well, it looks like my minimum cutting radius was much larger than it should've been for th 1/4" end mill. It was the same size as the one with the 3/8" chamfer tool. I dropped that number witht the 1/4" EM and it solved the issue.

Glad you got it sorted. To reset defaults, right click in any text window in the tool dialog and you are presented with some options. One of them resets all to defaults

Thanks for the help. I wasn't sure if that would only reset to built in default for that parameter only.
