I am trying to finish the undulating rim of small bowl with a morphed spiral pass. The toolpath has created little jogs that seem to follow lines that are on the model surface. Instead of neatly spiraling around the rim, my tool pauses and makes a little jump perpendicular to the cutting direction. You can see the little jogs in the toolpath here in these screenshots. As far as I can tell, the lines on the surface of my model do not represent an actual aberration in the form. If anyone can advise me on how to correct this, either by correcting my model or CAM I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

@danson.jm Thanks for posting your question to the Fusion 360 forum. Would you be able to export and attach the Fusion 360 file to this post or perhaps share the design file? I would be a happy to take a closer look and make some suggestions to help with this. Thanks and looking forward to your reply.

Dear Matthew-R,
I attached an F3D file. First time trying that so I hope it worked. Please let me know if there's something else you need. Thank you so much for taking a look at this problem.

@danson.jm Thanks for attaching the file. Here are a few of suggestions that I would make.
1. Unless you need the bodies in your model to be separate for some reason, combine the solid bodies in the model environment. This will allow for more accurate toolpath generation and keep the model a bit cleaner.
2. The boundary you selected is projected onto a plane and I think that some of those edges overlap when that projection is made, making the toolpath jump back to the end point of the sketch segment. In the model that I've attached I projected the edges in an active sketch and then used that sketch as my boundary selection. There are no overlapping endpoints and you'll see the toolpath generate pretty nicely.
Let me know if this makes sense and/or if you have any other questions. Thanks!

@Matthew-RThis worked great. Thank you so much. I didn't realize you could select boundaries in sketches.
