Side Mill along Y-Axis
Please can someone tell me how to side mill along the Y-Axis. None of the 2d/3d processes allow you to select this face???? You can select every other face!
Thanks

Select the lower (or upper) edge. Press the CTRL key and select the edge you want to machine. The toolpaths aren't driven off of faces, but edges (with some exceptions)

Hi Seth
Thanks for the reply but still does not work. I have Fusion 360 Basic so perhaps this is the problem? I have tried 2d Contour,Face........all with an Endmill, and it still does not let me select just the upper/lower edge on the Y-Axis. Instead it selects the entire lower/upper perimeter. Am at a bit of a loss here and thought this would be a basic function of Fusion 360 as this is required as one of the fundamental processes for squaring off stock! I have my vice mounted on the Haas table as shown in the picture below (please ignore facemill) and want to use the side of an end-mill to run along the Y-Axis (highlighted in green in accordance with stock point origin) to square off the stock. I can select the other 4 faces in Fusion but it won't let me select the left and right faces running along the Y-Axis??????!!!!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Alistair

Gah! I had a brain fart. Press the ALT key, not the CTRL key. That will allow you to select the single edge.
