web link for tool and holder in tool setup sheet

I would like to add the tool and holder web link info onto the tool setup sheet.  I tried just adding what I thought the variable might be for the holder link in the "tool-sheet.cps" file, but it didn't work..??

showHolderDescription: true,
showHolderComment: true,
showHolderVendor: true,
showHolderProductId: true,
showHolderProductLink: true,

Any thoughts on how I might be able to achieve this??

thx,

Sean

I guess you're out of luck.

If I do:

var key = "";
var keys = "";
for (key in tool) {
keys += key + ", ";
}

 I get this for keys:

number, diameterOffset, lengthOffset, secondaryLengthOffset, turningTool, jetTool, holderNumber, surfaceSpeed, maximumSpindleSpeed, spindleRPM, rampingSpindleRPM, clockwise, numberOfFlutes, threadPitch, coolant, material, description, comment, vendor, productId, holderDescription, holderComment, holderVendor, holderProductId, aggregateId, unit, type, diameter, tipDiameter, cornerRadius, taperAngle, fluteLength, shoulderLength, shaftDiameter, bodyLength, shaft, jetDiameter, jetDistance, holderTipDiameter, holderDiameter, holderLength, holder, boringBarOrientation, compensationOffset, secondaryCompensationOffset, turret, insertType, holderType, compensationMode, inscribedCircleDiameter, edgeLength, noseRadius, reliefAngle, thickness, grooveWidth, crossSection, tolerance, pitch, hand, clamping, manualToolChange, breakControl, liveTool, getTappingFeedrate, isDrill, tappingFeedrate

I cannot find anything with url, link or web.

Ticket CAMP-441 has been created to include tool and holder product links in the setup sheet tool list.

I updated the setup sheet to add a link if the product IDs for the tool and holders are normal links. I just write "click to visit" for now since showing a long ugly link is not going to be helpful.

Awesome, that's perfect....

Is there anyway I can implement that now, or will it be available in the future...??

Thx!!!

The new setup sheet is available here:

https://cam.autodesk.com/posts/?p=setup-sheet

But it might be somewhat of a problem to get Fusion to use it by default. Currently built-in. Posting from the post dialog using this setup sheet should work though.

It hasn't shown up yet on my end...maybe I'm doing something wrong.  When you said posting from "post dialog", did you refer to something other than using the G1 G2 icon...??

You can use the Setup Sheet command directly. You will need to use the Post Processor command and select the download Setup Sheet to try it out. The updated setup sheet will likely be included in the Fusion release scheduled for end of September.

I downloaded the new setup-sheet and selected it by first clicking the post-process icon and then redirecting the list to the download folder where the new setup-sheet files were.  I also made sure I had operations that included links for both tool and holder, but still am not seeing anything yet.

Ok, I'll try it later.
