Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Fusion Community!

@mike.mattera has a couple great tutorials for the 5 axis Swarf toolpath, linked here and here, that shows just how well Fusion can handle 5 axis strategies! @cj.abraham also recorded a tutorial, linked here, that walks through a few more of the 5 axis strategies.

For which post you should use, its a little difficult for me to say, just because I have no knowledge of your machine. I would start with the generic Mazak post, linked here, and run one of the "Post Processor Benchmark - Milling" parts in the Fusion 360 CAM Samples (the actual path in the data panel is CAM Samples>Post Processor> Post Processor Benchmark - Milling) through the generic post and make any changes to the post processor that need to be made.

Should you find that customizations need to be made, our post processor development team likes to hang out in the HSM Post Processor Forum to provide guidance for users seeking to make the customizations on their own. Alternatively, if you don't feel comfortable making the customizations on your own, you could reach out to a certified Autodesk CAM Reseller who will create the post processor for you for a fee.

I hope this helps! Please let me know of you have any questions or concerns.

Cheers,

Mike Tessier
