Could you export and share your file, or invite me to the project to look at it?
Export: File > Export > Save to local folder. Return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your next reply

Here are two files: Lincoln 16 x 5.5 where I used the trace to cleanup tool marks left in the transition from horizontal to the Ramp on the rim vertical wall.
And the Lincoln 26 where I'm having the issue.
Appreciate any help.

Well, here's your file back. Tool Orientation was most certainly turned on. Did you start creation of this part back when everyone had tool orientation at their disposal? Or perhaps you had a template or copied tools from another file?

Did you work from a template or an older file that was allowed tool orientation? If so, I'd delete that template and use the new Trace to accomplish that. If it's an old file (and there are more of them) I'd suggest either A) posting here with them and having people turn it off for you (or via email so as not to have 30 posts) or B) get a 30 day free trial of Ultimate and do it yourself
