Issues Since Nov 2024 Update
I'm hoping someone here can be of more help than Fusion's customer support. Here's my current issue:
I'm running a 3D Adaptive toolpath, and even though I have my max roughing stepdown set to 0.01", the first clearing pass occurs at -0.03". Yes, I square my stock before indicating. Yes, my WCS has the Z0 on the top of the stock. Yes, the machine's readout shows this first pass at -0.03". Yes, the GCode also shows this pass at -0.03". All subsequent passes properly observe the specified stepdown parameters.
I'll ask you to give me the benefit of the doubt that I'm correctly setting up my parts, both in Fusion and on the machine. Case and point, prior to the most recent update, I have programmed and run thousands of parts using 3D Adaptive (and pretty much all other) tool paths with no issues. Why this op is ignoring and overriding the specified maximum stepdown is beyond me. Possibly somewhere in the dialogue box for the operation, but I can't think of anything, much less anything that supersedes maximum stepdown... Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
