See the attached part. For the parallel operation I notice the generated code is just X and Z moves even though the surface is an arc. Is it possible with Fusion 360 to get it to generate the tool paths as arc's? I tried the 3D parallel operation but get the same results.

Try enabling smoothing in the passes tab
This seems to output the arcs when I tested it ![]()
Edit: You might also want to take a look at the attached example, perhaps it would be better to patch the whole part then use extend as well? Would stop the Ball nose dropping of the sides ![]()

Smoothing is the correct answer here. It really ought to be named "Arc Filtering."
