Do you need to model the thread or do you just need to machine it?

 

If you just need to cut the thread on a CNC lathe then there is no need to model it in Fusion

you can just Create a threading insert with the correct dimensions and then do a threading cycle on a plain 16.318mm diameter.

 

the thread insert setup would be like below

The thread parameters would look something like this

resulting sim will not be 100%correct looking because the threading tool in fusion doesn't have the shape to form the thread tops, but it will be fin in real life if you use the correct insert;
