Drop Hole O-Ring Groove Toolpath Help

Hello,

I need some help with a tool path.  I'm machining an o-ring groove with an offset drop hole using a Parker-Hanifin cutter from Harvey Tool.

Obviously, I want to start and stop at the center of the drop hole; I'm able to get the inside of the tool path to work however not the outer.  When I attempt the outer it ignores the predrill start/stop location and plunges in the center of the groove.

I've tried all I can imagine to get it to work; I've attached the file so you can have a go at it.  Thank you in advance!

Sincerely

Dale

Hi

I found something that works

Duplicate the first toolpath, and give it a 0.0087 positive stock to leave and then change the Sideways compensation to "Right"

This way its using the First contour so it leads in correctly, and by changing it to right it climb mills the other side
