3D model from machine

I have a step file from the builder of my machine.

When imported this step file in fusion this is very detailed.

How can i adjust this file (les detailed) to use for machine simulation?

Is there an easy way to remove the smal not used components?

It's going to be in the Design environment, for starters.

Tools like Simplify are going to be your friend, but it is going to be a laborious process, depending on the level of complexity.

Thank you for the info, perhaps it is better to import the most important parts into a new assembly.

The machine simulation worked with the imorted step file, this was only very time consuming, but looked very good.

And i could not get the tool attach point right.

Hello,
If you want to introduce your machine to Fusion and adjust its kinematics, I can help you. I can also remove unnecessary areas.
