I will show you how I would do it, but may I ask something? Why are you doing that? Is this thought to have more "bite" in the material? You aren't going to get it with aluminum, as it will just deform at those points. In aluminum, the more unbroken contact you have, the better. You would be surprised at how much you can machine with simple aluminum jaws. I've held onto as little as .08" using adaptive cuts, .500 EM, 80ipm .040 RDOC
