Thanks for the suggestions. Ok just so you know where I am at, I was able to build a fixture that will hold two of these upright to drill the hole in the end, I have a .701 12xd drill body for the hole. in fusion I was able to drill and thread mill the threads, cut the counterbore in the end. So that s done and looked good in simulation. So now I am to the tang end and when I try to do an adaptive to remove most of the material I can not get it to cut correctly. So with that said and I know that was vague but I need to remove all of that material on the opposite end of the threaded hole and I do not know how to begin. I am thinking about trying to hold it in the same fixture and side mill most of it away with adaptive so the angles of the tang will be cut correctly but you guys may know a much better way.
