I am relatively new to fusion......and it drives me nuts. I know what I want it to do but making it do it is another thing. Yes I have a vf2 with 4th axis and rotary also a 2022 vf4 wired for axis but no rotary for it yet. I expected this to be done in many operations as it it has to be turned then cylindrical ground to 1.350. Then a .700 hole put in it, threaded and then all the pocketing. Then the part will have to be heat treated and checked for warping. Any warpage will have to be corrected before assembly.. I have been machining at my own small job shop for 6 years so I guess I am relatively new to machining by some standards but not a green tomato by any means.. I have problems with fusion. I like it but also hate it I guess its a love hate relationship.....I learn by doing and asking questions as I am doing so I guess this is where I am having a hard time learning fusion, no one to ask directly how to do something. It is not offered at any of the local tech schools and online tutorials are mostly simple parts which I do use fusion quite a bit for the simple stuff but this one is tough for me.. Thank you for responding to my post.
