I have never cut this material, so I can't provide much advice on that front. However, I strongly advise not to be using a Flat endmill for the surfacing, you are never going to get an acceptable finish, since the tool is only capable of machining flat areas. Anything with a "dish" to it (concave or convex) will end up with scalloped steps in it. Ball Mill is what you're looking for.
