3D model as stock

Hello,

how would i go on and use an 3D model as stock then make further changes to the stock model to "tell" F360 what is to be machined? I hope that makes sense.

Okay, so your "Stock" does not have that R17.5mm radius groove thru it, correct?

A couple pointers:

1) Both files can exist in the same Fusion file, either one as a native and the other as an inserted component, or just to native components in a file.

2) Create a Setup.

3) Select the model that represents which part will be the final resulting model as your "Model":

4) Select the model that represents your "Stock", under your Stock Definition

Thanks a lot @seth.madore !!

BTW nice shop! Just watched the video you did with Saunders.

Thanks! I recently put on that addition I mentioned in the video, now rocking an additional 1,400 sq/ft!
