Unable to cut a curved face.

I have created a T handle with curves in both directions (the x-y plane and the x-z plane).  This has created a contour selection that ends up turning back on itself.

This results in a milling path that travels on the outside of the curve when traveling to the left and then on the inside when traveling to the right.

Unfortunately, I am unable to find a tool to generate a tool path that will only cut on the inside of the curve to create this part.

I have tried 2D Adaptive Clearing, 2D Pocket, 2D Contour, and Trace which all yield similar results of cutting on both sides of the selected contour.  I have also tried selecting only a portion of the default contour (by selecting only the segments I want) but the segment on the far left (the outermost portion of the T handle) still creates unwanted cut paths.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
