Unable to cut a curved face.
I have created a T handle with curves in both directions (the x-y plane and the x-z plane). This has created a contour selection that ends up turning back on itself.
This results in a milling path that travels on the outside of the curve when traveling to the left and then on the inside when traveling to the right.
Unfortunately, I am unable to find a tool to generate a tool path that will only cut on the inside of the curve to create this part.
I have tried 2D Adaptive Clearing, 2D Pocket, 2D Contour, and Trace which all yield similar results of cutting on both sides of the selected contour. I have also tried selecting only a portion of the default contour (by selecting only the segments I want) but the segment on the far left (the outermost portion of the T handle) still creates unwanted cut paths.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Yea fusion goes a bit funny with Geometry like that.
What you need to do is create a Sketch, then use the Project command with the selection filter set to "Bodies" to project the outline of the part onto the sketch.
You can then use this sketch to drive the 2D contour etc. adjust the cutting heights by using selections etc in the Heights tab.

Hi @mchl.shepard
The toolpaths you tried using are not model-aware. This means that sometimes it's hard to get the expected toolpaths on "more complicated" geometries shaped like that.
One way to get around it could be to use Sketches to drive your tool, like suggested by @a.laasW8M6T . Otherwise I'd suggest using a model-aware 3D toolpath, rather than a 2D operation. That should work well.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

Thanks @a.laasW8M6T for the advice.
It took a bit of learning but it works great.
