How to define setup with custom stock

I've defined a Component in Design establishing my Stock body.  I also have a Component which is my final object.

In Manufacturing, I think I have setup the Stock body correctly:

However, I can't get any toolpath to build successfully.  3D Adaptive clearing, for example, takes forever, and then says no toolpath generated.   Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

the setup is fine, its the toolpath itself is where your issues are.  on large 3d adaptive paths, and when i mean large i mean tool to workpiece ratios, it helps to setup up boundaries to chop the path up in a few sections.  you can also change the top heights reduce where its look for material to cut.  another trick i've learned is in subsequent tool paths, use a decreasing tolerance with an increasing stock to leave as well as playing with the rest machining options to reduce redundant cutting and air cutting.  i've attached what i got to work as a start.  you can really blow the tolerance, stepover, and stepdowns out to get a path work and dialed in and then decrease them once you get it working how you like.

Yes, that the answer!   I used Sketch rectangles to break up the job into smaller sections and it resolved the issue.   Thank for the response and the example!
