Amada post not putting in decimals
good afternoon,
I run an amada emlk3510 at work, and have tried making some programs for personal side project stuff on fusion 360. when I use the amada laser post it seems to miss decimals on numbers that would be xxx.000 as in the snip below. where there isn't a decimal point after a number the machine goes in a straight line to the edge of the part
Am I just missing a setting somewhere?

You can edit the post to force it to include the decimal point. If you go to line 115 in the post then you can add the following part of code highlighted in my screenshot below. This will force it to include the decimal for example - X50 will become X50.
It will not include any trailing 0's. I assume you only need the decimal point for it to work correctly.

@Anonymous
The "forceDecimal" command needs to be inside the { ~ } as shown in the image below and it will work.
Have another go

I double checked to make sure I had the brackets right and it looks correct, unless I'm missing something.
could it be somewhere else now I'm missing something? When I ran the post after making the change I got some warning that I do not recall getting before under NCProgram
Here is a grab of the lines mentioned in the warnings not sure if it will have anything to do with the decimals not being inserted.
And again thanks for your help folks. ![]()

Hmm that's a bit confusing. Is this just the stock Amada Laser post processor? I edited it as I said and did a simple test program and it behaved as expected. I'm unsure why it has done this for you. I'm attaching my post. It is straight from the Fusion post library with the forceDecimal change I mentioned. Does it work for you?

The modification that Matt @mattdlr89 has provided in his uploaded Post Processor works correctly here as well, there are no other modifications required for it to work so don`t go changing anything else.
Are you using the Post Processor from your "Installed Library" ? If so then it is possible that it has been overwritten again by yesterdays update, suggest that you download/copy/paste the PP from @mattdlr89 into your "Personal/Local" Post Processor Library and use it from that location.
The Main "Installed Post Library" is updated/overwritten automatically if you have the automatic updates enabled in your preferences.
