You get the same issue. In short, Rest Machining just does not work when ticked. 

 

As for the collision on the tool path, i was aware but didnt bother changing my tool length to suit. I do prototyping so i skip a few steps. But thanks.

 


 

I was just trying to point out the fact that in your first setup, there is operantly no way to reference first roughing operation to anything in the list of options for rest machining, so my logical approach would be to just turn rest machining off.

 

If in your second setup you select "stock from previous setup", then rest machining would apply if you select "from setup stock", this may be a little confusing  but basically if you initiate a function that is not in reference to anything, ....... it doesn't work.

If it's checked as a default and if it is a bug, then you as a programmer determining the logic in your workflow should disable it  before moving on, that was my point.

 

There are functions in Fusion that are only active if related to another function, just because they are in the list or even being ticked as default, does not mean they are going to work.

For a long time, I had to uncheck "use constant surface speed" from threading on lathe, why? .... because I know threading is done using constant RPM's and it took a long time for Fusion to finally take that out.

 

 

Looking at the chamfer tool collision, It looks like you selected edges of another model for chamfers, it has nothing to do with tool length.

I thing picture on the right is what you intended to do.
