2D Chamfering Consolidation Vs Evenly Spaced Points
Hi forum users,
A quick vote on development work you’d rather see done first inside of Fusion’s manufacturing workspace.
1. Evenly spaced points for all toolpaths – evenly spaced points will allow for evenly spaced point distribution on all 3D finishing toolpaths. Allowing for smoother axis movement on 3, 3+2 and simultaneous 5 axis toolpaths. Recording up to 30% time saving and better surface quality.
2. Consolidation of 2D chamfering capability – there are currently 3 different ways to machine chamfers with chamfer tools. 2D trace, 2D contour and 2D chamfer. Combining the capabilities into a one stop shop for chamfering, whether the chamfer is modelled or not, and displaying the strengths of each in one strategy.
Vote in the thread and give reasons why, thanks for your time in advance.
