Fabrication Suite Desktop Licensing
Question about licensing.
First, I'm looking at the Autodesk Fabrication suite. I was told that starting next year, CADMep, CAMDuct, ESTMep, etc, will only be available in the Fabrication Suite, and I will no longer be able to purchase these separately. Does anyone know if this is true?
Second, If I purchase the Fabricaiton Suite for a year, can one user use one portion of the suite (CAMduct) while another user uses another software package such as ESTduct at the same time?
This is a big issue as we have 3 users that will need to use the software, but they each only need 1 portion. Our shop guy will need CAMduct only, our estimator will need ESTDuct only, and I will need CADMep
I can't believe that I would need to purchase 3 suites to do this. That's close to $13k a year for desktop licensing.

The above is correct. You need one license per one person. So if you have 3 concurrent users, you need three seats. If you don't have to work concurrently, then you can all share one seat of network, but only one person at a time can use any of the suite software.
