No library of duct fittings to choose from
I'm just getting started in Fab CADmep. Through the AEC suite, I have AutoCAD 2024 & Fabrication CADmep 2024 loaded. It seems to load correctly, but I am thinking that maybe I don't have the files pathed correctly to be able to have the duct library? Both the 'MAP Buttons' and the 'Service & Section' boxes are empty, and by 'empty' I mean they are just big, white rectangles that only have their names in text at the top.

I don't think there is a database loaded as 2024 seems to be missing the standard metric and imperial content.
try installing 2023 version.

I was able to find the ImperialContent.msi file on Autodesk's website. I just don't know exactly what I'm supposed to do with it. Like where to put it and exactly how to designate it in the 'Options', 'Files', so that it correctly loads automatically upon opening.

Don't think you have the correct file as i'm not sure what is the .msi
download a trial version of fabrication cam-duct 2023 version or older
that will save the default imperial and metric databases to you pc.
The default place they will be saved is -
(c:)windows\users\public\public documents\Autodesk\Fabrication2023
now open Cadmep and you should get a pop up request to load a configuration (screenshot)
select new
now point to where the downloaded database is (as above) and highlight the version folder (screenshot)
once you highlight the version hit select at the bottom
it should now appear in the opening list to load when you open up Cadmep as mine are in the screenshot
good luck

Both 'solutions' for the problem with Fabrication 2024 have been to tell me to load Fabrication 2023.
I might end up doing that, but that is not a solution as I understand solutions.

Its the only solution until Autodesk release the database with the 2024 version. expect this to be updated soon.
It's a very simple and easy solution to your current issue to link it to the 2023 database and downloading a trial version of cam-duct 2023 is pretty fast and easy.
did you contact Autodesk to ask as they may give you link to download it if you don't want to download the trial 2023 version?

just unpack it and you should be good to go

The sample databases for 2024 are in your Autodesk Account.
