How can I adjust the tool path the NC creates in CAMduct?

In CAMduct 2019, when I preview the NC for some gored elbows, I notice that the travel movement between cutting the seams of the gores takes the longer path from top to bottom(see attachment). Is there a way to change the travel path to take the shorter path between the seams of the gores. My end goal is to reduce total movement for each sheet burned to prevent unnecessary wear on the plasma cutter and to shorten cutting time.

Thank you,

There are several possible things that may affect this.

First - Try your machine settings under Installed Machines - Setup - NC Settings- Part Ordering

Setting Along Rail Axis or Along Beam Axis may change this. Also under Method there is Shortest, Left to Right, Top to Bottom etc.

Otherwise you can move the Start Points and Set the Cut Order as desired either per Part in Profiler

or Per Nest in Manual Nest.

Changing Method to "Left" gave the outcome I needed. Thank you.
