Double Wall Duct
When using a double wall spec it appears estmep wants to line the skin vs the outer duct. Is there a setting to change this so it will line the outer duct.

The setting you are looking for is within the itm itself. Once you have double wall checked you will see settings to adjust skin inside vs outside and what material it should use.

That does not seem to matter...either way no matter what way you build the piece, it seems to want to line the inside piece.

Take a look at the square footage of the liner when you build a DW piece. If you build it as a inside or outside skin, the SF of liner stays the same and is based on the inner skin.
