DIMENSIONS SWITCH IN DIFFERENT VIEWS

Good afternoon.

I'm working in Fabrication/CADmep and have an issue with the dimensions on duct switching in different view windows. In plan view, the duct shows the correct size at 30"x 24", however when i put that same duct in an ISO view, CAD switches it to 30"x 24" and now i have PMs thinking I can't do my job.

Any advice? I have a snip here for reference.

Construction drawings read Width x Height in Plan view and Height x Width in section view. The CAD program changes this depending on the view you are looking at.

I see. Is that just the way it is? I'm guessing if they want it written a certain way, I'd have to do it manually?
