Fabrication Part Duct Fitting in Revit won't connect to other Fabrication Parts
Hello,
Some of my Fabrication Part (Duct Fittings) in Revit does not want to connect with other Fabrication parts in my model.
some other Fabrication parts from my pallet do connect.
can anyone tell me how I solve this?
does anyone have a video explaining what an Item in Fabrication CAMDuct must meet to have it neatly connected with other Fabrication parts in Revit?
Kind Regards,
Robert Klempau

Hi Robert
Are they standard parts from a fabrication database or are they custom items?

AWAL OP or not... has anyone else had this issue? I have a similar issue with connecting a Transition (CID 2)to two elbows (CID 22) in Revit. I need to put in a small piece of straight duct on each of the elbows, place the Transition on one of the little straight stubs, stretch it to the other straight stub so it adopts the size and offset. Then use the little blue arrows on the transition to stretch and "consume" the little stubs so that I have all three fittings connected. A lot of time wasted just to connect three fittings.

hi there
not entirely sure what you mean with this issue
i don't use CID 22 which is a radius bend with adjustable back but i have tried this in revit and see no issues with it connecting to CID 2
i'm not a big user of Revit and mainly in cam or Est so i'm probably not fully understanding the issue
Try a radius bend CID 4 to see if you have the same issue which would at least narrow the problem down a bit
sorry that's all i can suggest
