Duct fittings not attaching in correct orientation

Hi,

When I tried to add a cap end to a duct the cap end attached oriented at a right angle to true north, rather than in line with the duct being connected to. What is causing this?

Hi John

Try checking the options on the end cap and see if the fix relative option is ticked in the part properties section as this may be the reason its not fixing as per your attacher arrow

Hi, thanks for the response. That didn’t fix it unfortunately. It seems to only be happening on certain ductwork fittings.
