New to Fabrication CADmep.
I imported the AWWA fittings from Victaulic website. I can import the fittings (elbows, ect) into my drawing. I see the "attacher" at one end of the fitting, but I can't attach straight pipe. Is there a Victaulic straight pipe somewhere?
Thanks

From Victaulic:
"Regarding the CADMEP files, these are transport services. You can place them anywhere on your PC and then while setting up your service you can take Victaulic products and add them."
Copying the Vic parts to an existing System with pipe works. The straight pipe is shortened to the correct cut length when adding a Vic fitting. Being new to CADmep, I didn't realize this.

What I did, was copy another pipe, say "Beveled End", both the ITM and the jpg files. I renamed them from "BE" to "Grooved", I entered the renamed ITM, changed the connections from Beveled End to Grooved, added them to my Vice Service, and voila, you have grooved pipe.
I just downloaded the Vic stuff myself, and there's a lot of content, but the actual Service isn't set up, and needs cleaned up, but the hard work of the ITMs are there, so it's just a matter of cleaning it up.
Note: Make sure you grab a pipe that doesn't have a locked length applied, say "20 ft" or something. But if you do, no biggie, just unlock the length. So you can change it while inserting it.
