Pipework information not showing when hovering over service
Hello
When I hover over pipework containment and circular duct work only shows an item number and no information. On rectangular duct work it shows item number, size, level etc. How do I get other services to show the same information?
Thanks

Hello @Anonymous
Thank you for your post and welcome to the community!
Just to be sure we are on the same page, what Fabrication program are you using (CADmep?) and what version, you can find out what version you are running by typing appinfo into the command line. Please send me a screen shot of this information.
In addition to the app information can you also please send me screenshots of the what you are seeing with your duct work and not on your pipework containment or circular duct?
Thank you and I look forward to your thoughts!

Using Fabrication CADmep 2019

Hi @Anonymous
Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I was not able to view the snapshots you sent my way. While you locate and send those screen shots my way I have some items I would like you to test.
Note: the fist step is essential for CADmep to display the default Item information correctly. When testing the ToolTip the CADmep attacher should be removed from the item.
1. Go to AutoCAD Options > Display tab > Windows Elements section - disable the option "Show rollover ToolTips"
If still not displaying:
2. Try toggling Dynamic Input (F12)
If still not displaying:
3. Issue the FORCETOOLTIP command
Please give the above a try and report back to me your findings.

Using CADmep 2024, I am not able to see the spool number information in the rollover tool tips box. Is there a way to add custom properties that you want to see when rolling over/hovering on items?
1. Go to AutoCAD Options > Display tab > Windows Elements section - disable the option "Show rollover ToolTips"
If still not displaying:
Confirmed and no change
2. Try toggling Dynamic Input (F12)
If still not displaying:
No change
3. Issue the FORCETOOLTIP command
No change
