There isn’t a list of predefined button codes, what you are seeing as far as button mapping is by design.  In addition there is not a database that has all of these stored.  

As you mentioned you can make the names up, or you can duplicate the names, but you will have to set the draw order and you would need to develop your own naming conventions.  If you use the same button code you will need set the lower and upper limits depending on your design.
