Reports in Fabrication CADmep 2019 Not Printing to PDF
I think this may be a bug but not exactly sure yet. Has anyone running 2019 had an issue with printing item reports to PDF? This issue specifically happens when you are trying to print 2 different item reports. If you try to print the item reports again but instead print them one at a time then it ask for the save location of the 2 different item reports from the first go round of trying to print them out.

Im having the same problem using CADmep 2019. I've tried right clicking going to CADmep, and then selecting Printer Setup and selecting the PDF plotter I want to use (Bluebeam) and then try printing a report. Sadly it does create a PDF. Any suggestions to why this does not work??

In regards to my reply "Im having the same problem using CADmep 2019. It does work now . Not sure why but the PDF creator/save dialog box pops up behind the AutoCAD program I had open. So it looked like it did nothing but in reality it was just hidden under a few programs. Hope that helps to fix your problem.

There is a bug (or I don't understand what their words mean) in the report printer. If you have multiple reports selected and you click the print button "Print Selected Reports" they will not print.
You have to do one of the following actions:
1. Print a single checked report (Do not Check multiple reports to print)
or
2. Check multiple reports and the click and hold on the print button and select "Current Report".
"Current page" while multiple reports are checked appears to print the first page of each report. Weird.
"All Reports" does not work when multiple reports are checked.
If the above doesn't fix your issue then you must check your printer settings like others have suggested or
look for hidden dialogs behind Autocad.
Try setting your printer settings to something you don't want and then re-setting back to pdf.

Our printers are set to PDF by default. The only fix or work around we have found is to either do one at a time or print the multiple reports you need twice. AutoCAD will print all the reports the second go round that you do it. This is something that Autodesk needs to sort out and fix and its bothersome. We are on the latest update of 2019 AutoCAD and CADmep.

I am using the 2020 version and I also have the same problem. Even after making changes in printer setup (Adobe PDF, Microsoft print to pdf), it still gives me a paper print out.
Surprisingly when I use Microsoft print to pdf (as suggested in https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-export-reports-as...) it gives me an option to save as pdf but it also prints on paper.

This isn't exactly the same problem as my original post. It wasn't printing the multiple reports i had selected to print whether it was set to PDF or a paper printer.

Hello @jdlandry504 & @Rvadey ,
@jdlandry504 you had escalated this case back in 2018, reviewing the case information it seems you resolved this yourself but you are not sure how it got fixed. Could it have been related to a network or environment causing printing issues?
I will reach out to @rafal.lewandowski & @mariah.ferranti who maybe able to provide some clarity.

I didn't exactly get it fixed, I just found a work around for it instead of waiting for the problem to be resolved.

Not sure if you are still having this issue. I struggled with it happening at random for weeks and only inside of Autodesk Products. I found the article below and followed the steps they recommended and have not had the issue since then. Figured I would share as it may help you. Good luck!
