Diameter Adjustments
Good day,
Im struggling with automatic diameter adjustments. our segment bend needs to slide into the spiral ducts, IE a 150dia bend needs to be 147mm. we are currently doing this manually when entering the size.
I've looked at the Effective Diameter sections under the Fittings Database, also on the connector settings. no where it give me the option of adding a diameter adjustment value. Unless im using the Effective diameter section incorrect.
our segment bend are the CID 51 pattern,
This pertains to all round fittings we use, Reducers, Square to Rounds, 45deg bends, 90bend. etc.
IF someone could help with this it would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards

Make sure you have the adjustment assigned to the connector and the "Use Connector Dependent Effective Diameters" is checked in the effective Diameters.

HI Nathan,
After i posted this, i had a look on our other software we use, ESTMEP. this diameter adjustment is easily done via the C1 & C2 connections under the Fittings section in the Database. What is very strange that i noticed between the two software, CADMEP & ESTMEP, that the options available to adjust differs from the two software packages.
I will adjust all the diameters on CADMEP's effective diameter section and import that section of the database into the ESTMEP database,
Kind Regards

Hmm. That is odd as there shouldn't be a difference. Make sure you have the manufacturing button selected in the connectors. This will cause things to look differently between the 2 products. It seems you have 2 databases between your Est department and fabrication. If so, whats the reasoning?
