Print Preview (For Reports) in 2017 and 2018

Hello,

I noticed that there was a change in the print preview window from fabrication 2017 to 2018. My question, is there a way to continue to use an older version of this? I want to say there has to be a way because half of my designers on 2018 have the old style and the other half has the new style.

I've attached screenshots for reference. In 2018 the list of reports/worksheets are combined into one window and in 2017, the list and reports are in separate windows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no setting for this.  It has to do with what service pack the users are running.

Yea, I did some testing and realized that the update that changes it is 2018.1.1.

Thanks!

We skipped 2018 but are now looking to implement 2019 and came across the "New Improved" Print Preview layout.

The new layout is so much worse than the previous version I can't imagine why it was changed.

Please, please revert to the 2017 style, the new layout is atrocious.

In the previous layout you could have a standard set of reports selected and simply click through them to print the ones you want, if there was nothing to print that particular report was simply not displayed and any that weren't selected were also ignored. now as you step through you get an error on any report that is not correctly formatted and are told every time a report is not selected for printing. Such a retrograde change to a function that worked well, why change this when there are so many other areas that actually need improvement.

I agree 100%.  We are moving from 2015 to 2018 and the report format for 2018 is frustrating and very time consuming.  I would really like to see the reports go back to the former format.

I find it hard to call this a "Solution"
