New drawing, Wrong material on duct

The material aplied to the new duct is not according the specification default.

i.e: default material for the specification is galvanised steel, but it assigns RVS to the new ductwork.

Look on the itm's Manufacturing tab.  I would assume a spec with that material is assigned.  You want it set to "Not Set".

Thx for your reply. Unfortunately that is not the case. I have checking with Autodesk and they are kind of puzzled also. For now, the solution is to HARD assign an default material, instead of making the specification decide.

Any idea on what my have occured

Does the duct have a catalogue associated with it?  Is it spiral/oval?  For our spiral/oval pipe we have to create a new itm per material because the spec wont drive the correct material unless the itm default is set from the start.

Hi Nathan,

The issue is currently not there anymore.

Thx for your reply.

It's not separating the duct and pipe elevations and now it seems it's changed the spiral duct into mechanical pipe. I can attach the drawing if you like.

Thanks,

Mike
