I just updated to the 2018 version of CADmep and went to grille out one of my drawings when I noticed extremely large grips in 3D that will not shrink to a normal size by changing the setting in options.
Type GRIPSIZE in command box and check the value. if it is large value then reduce value upto 4 or 5 and recheck.
It was at 6 when I first typed the command. I changed it down to 4 and it still left the 3D grips substantially larger than the grips in 2D view.
