I find it annoying how order of operation is so critical when installing Autodesk software. I understand much of it, but it's annoying. This is made worse with the new collections (AEC Collection is my experience). I am currently putting together the process order for removing and reinstalling all of our Autodesk software. Because we use standalone licenses, I have been informed that we will have to uninstall our existing software suites and reinstall the software one program at a time. The up side is it allows us to only install the software we need and easily add software at a later date without downloading the entire suite install. But the downside is that I have to make sure my order of installation is correct to ensure inter-program cooperation.
Joy be to the Autodesk. ![]()
