Changing service specification
I've been trying to change the service specification to DW144 but I don't seem to have the option for it as seen in the image attached. I'm new to Fabrication so if you could provide your answer in detail it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Friend,
DW144 is associated with Metric Service Database. It will not be available or i can say futile attempt even you want to create if in imperial database.
Furthermore, You will get DW144 ready specification in Autodesk Default Meric database, segregated very nicely with Low, High and medium pressure.
Please notify me if you got my point.

I understand what you're saying. How would I switch it to a metric database?

After initiating to run Fabrication CADmep, system will ask you to choose a database with a pop up like shown in image. You have to choose Metric Content instead of Imperial. after loading metric content database , you will get required DW144 Specification.
