I am not exactly sure how you are setup to begin with, but if you are using a metric database then it should be outputting in metric. I have never used the metric side of fabrication, but I have to assume that SqrMeters is an option; it has to be.... I do know that metric is a beautiful base 10 system that is superior to imperial in every way and that the conversion from whatever current native metric outputs it does have to another should be a very simple calculation field modification.
If your not using a metric database to begin with, then you could still make the conversion from SqrFeet to SqrMeters by multiplying your values by 0.09290304
Not sure if that will be of any help, but I'll need more info (screenshots are good) about what and where your trying to generate this information.
