Material Rules cause Problems
Hello members of the forum,
My team and I have been building all the pieces that did not come with out-of-the-box CAMduct in order to draw our systems in Revit. This was quite successful with DWV pipe fittings/pipe and PEX fittings/pipe, however we have run into a snag with black iron. Malleable Iron #150 has some sizes which are the largest at the top. For example, the 1/2 x 1/2 x 3/4 inch black iron piece. Using the original reducing tee from out-of-the-box CAMduct 2017, I attempted to find that size. I soon came to realize that all of the reducing tees that have the largest size as the side inlet were not in the list. Thinking this was just a usual lack of inputs, I attempted to create them myself. I soon came to find out after extensive testing and failing, that any material under the type "Pipe Materials" could not have the largest size as the inlet. Sadly I have no way of changing this, as it is a rule embedded within the type "Pipe Materials". Any chance the Fabrication CAMduct dev team could fix this?
